What we collect, and what happens to it.

This page explains what information this website collects and what happens to it.

Last updated: [TO FILL: the date you publish this page.]

Who we are

Crictro operates crictro.com. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights described below, email hello@crictro.com.

[TO FILL: the legal entity or individual responsible for this site, and a postal address. This is required under UK and EU data protection law if you have readers in those regions.]

What we collect

Things you send us. If you email us we receive your address and whatever you write. We use it to reply and to correct our data, and for nothing else.

Things collected automatically. Our web server keeps standard logs: IP address, browser type, which pages were requested, when, and which page referred you. We use these for security and to see which reports people find useful.

There are no user accounts on this site. We do not ask for or store names, dates of birth, payment details or passwords.

Cookies and advertising

This site carries advertising to cover its running costs.

[TO FILL once AdSense is approved: confirm whether you are running Google AdSense, Google Analytics or both, and add a consent banner if you have readers in the UK or EU.]

Legal basis, and your rights

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we handle server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site running and secure, and we handle emails on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying to you. Advertising cookies are handled on the basis of consent where consent is required.

You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, and to complain to your data protection regulator. Email hello@crictro.com to make a request.

How long we keep things

Server logs are kept for a short period for security reasons and then discarded. Emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with whatever they were about.

Children

This site is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Where player information comes from

Dates of birth published here come from public sources, mainly Wikipedia, and concern public figures in their professional capacity. If you are a player or a representative and want to query how information about you appears here, email hello@crictro.com.

Changes

We may update this policy. Any significant change will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
